Our team worked directly with evrmore founder, Ivy Mahsciao, to conduct emotional research into the user experience of their mobile app aimed to use Empathy AI to help Gen Z develop a strong narrative identity and process their emotions. We developed an interview protocol to gain insight how people typically process and cope with positive and negative emotions. We analyzed the results with empathy mapping and the Azure Video Indexer in order to develop our insights. From here, we developed and moderated CoDesign activities to help generate ideas for improving the emotional UX experience of the app and developed preliminary mock ups to convey our recommendations.
